They were taken on the occasion of a trip to #Oostende, #Zeebrugge and #Brugge. We travelled on board these Class 44 and 45 railcars.

A picture taken along a single-track line in rural #Belgium 🇧🇪 in June 2004: this was actually a “photostop” of a charter train for railfans, organised by the Belgian rail enthusiasts association #PFT #TSP, to say farewell to #SNCB #NMBS Classes 22 and 25 electric locomotives.

The Belgian association #PFT #TSP used to organise, and probably still organises, railfan specials that included a number of photo stops en route. On this picture, taken in the #Gent 🇧🇪 area in May 2008, we see such a charter train hauled by two “round nosed” #AFB #Nohab diesels.

The Manhattan Institute was founded by Reagan CIA Director William Casey, who was himself a Catholic extremist and a member of the Knights of Malta, as is Leonard Leo, and Erik Prince.
