  1. #Manslaughtering #MAGA grifter #KyleRittenhouse was paid by #TurningPointUSA to deliver uninvited #fascist propaganda at the University of #Memphis. 👀 👉 tiktok.com/t/ZPRTkdhft/

The students there let it be known that #WhiteSupremacist #propaganda was not welcome on their campus. 👏

And since the #TNleg passed their ban on #DivisiveConcepts on campus, it seems the #BananaRepublicans shot themselves in the foot - again!

  2. "Alabama bans DEI programs in public colleges and the teaching of ‘divisive concepts’"

    :why:

What's going on in Alabama? Don't they know how knowledge is acquired? Do they have this cartoonish notion that when a scientist makes a discovery, everyone else immediately sees the light and falls in line?

The acquisition of knowledge is an inherently divisive process.

The law on "divisive concepts" is going to be challenged and will be overturned.

  3. Here is a link to the #TNleg definition of “#DivisiveConcepts “, which are only prohibited at (poorly) state-supported aka ‘public’ universities. 👉 mtsu.edu/about/divisive-concep

In other news; #DataScience is a hot major among students and employers. One year ago, our Director of this new program was hired by a private university in #Tennessee, and this month his replacement was hired by a public university in another state.

    Why does the #TNleg hate #HigherEducation ?

  4. I just receive two back-to-back emails from the President of the public university in #Tennessee; one reminded us that the state law prohibiting teaching of ‘#DivisiveConcepts ‘ went into effect July 1st, with information about actions to be taken whenever a student “feel(s) discomfort, guilt, anguish, or another form of psychological distress solely because of the individual's race or sex,” for example.

The other email reported that the search for a new *Dean of Students* failed! 🤔
