We are waiting for a few packages of sports and tcg cards to arrive in the mail for the shop! We are waiting on wwe hanger boxes as well as blaster boxes of Nascar and some more Digimon and Pokémon! I'm Quinn, a fem Therian puppy who likes owls and angelic/celestial aesthetics, though I'm not religious. As of the time of this post, I'm coming up on two years on HRT. ​:neodog_flag_trans:​

I decided to start trying to design a 4-player casual format for the Digimon TCG ala MtG's Commander. I know a lot of people have messed with the idea before, and none have really caught on, especially because the language for the Digimon TCG doesn't really support multiple opponents, but I figured I'd give it a shot!

So far, it focuses on the new ACE Digimon, and does a little bit more to encourage spending a lot of memory at the end of your turn, because unlike the standard format, you'll get that memory too!

Worst comes to worst, if I can't make it feel good to play in a 4 for all, I can still probably take some of my ideas to make a 1v1 casual format.

I wish there was more Casual Digimon TCG gameplay and discussion on Youtube. Everything I can find seems to be players pitting high powered meta decks against each other, playing very fast, usually commentary played on top of the video because they're clearly not having conversation with their opponent in the video.

It makes me wish there was something like Tolarion Community College's Shuffle Up and Play series for Digimon. I feel like videos that embodied "fun games with friends" are vital because they introduce people to the game in a non-intimidating way.

Honestly I feel like we need more casual Digimon in general.

Dang, after getting back into the Digimon TCG, I really like the state of the game currently! I kinda fell off for a while because I didn't like the OTK meta, but the new cards that have been added are really fun!

I'm really looking forward to BT15 Angewomon, which is one of my favourite Digimon with a strategy that is right up my alley. (The Strategy being "Eat Holy Fire, Dillweed" and blowing up my opponent's board)

Played Machinedramon at #digimontcg locals tonight and went 2-1. Deck is loads of fun and will do a lot better as I learn it.

Bigger better news though, I pulled the alt-art Magnamon from the Tamer Party Pack!
