Today I visited Leisure Games @leisuregames in Finchley (London). It ranks among my favourite #TTRPG #FLGS in the world, with an awesome selection of #RPGs including many lesser-known and Indie titles.
I was wearing my #EFF T-shirt, which got us started on a conversation about digital rights, including the writing of @pluralistic and @edzitron. Now I have another reason to love this shop.
Also — now they stock my book!

Madison is blessed with many great FLGSs, but most of them are board and trading card game first (got to pay those bills), with TTRPGs being third or fourth in line (Noble Knight is the weird outlier given the giant warehouse and mail order business attached to it). However, Misty Mountain games on the East Side has a super impressive TTRPG selection. Like, I'm talking Pegasus games in the 90s good. If you're in the area, definitely check them out.

The Hairy Tarantula store is hosting a free event to learn to play Magic the Gathering on august 30th @ 1 PM
Each player will receive a welcome deck and a sticker sheet. A staff member will help people learn the game and help with any questions. If the new player purchases 6 play booster or more they will receive a promo Trinket Mage.
