Declaring Metapendence – It Is Finished
The trigger is pulled. I have told Meta to delete my Facebook account, which will complete in 30 days time. One Big Tech reliance removed.
I still have Alphabet (Google), Amazon, and Apple to get away from, but we’ll get to those.

My original plan was to delete my Facebook account back in July, timed around Independence Day. I'm nothing if not a sucker for symbolism. As the 2025 drum corps season kicked into high gear around that time, along with my vacation, I ended up tabling my plan.
