Maybe, there should be a new #browserExtension like #SponsorBlock, #DeArrow, #CaptainFact, and #tournesol, to which people can upload their videos without #AI filters if they are affected by #YouTube's AI filters. Projects like #Piped and #Invidious could natively support this and directly play the non-AI impacted videos.

@christophe J'ai pas de réponse directe, mais pour améliorer votre #UX sur #YouTube, il y a #SponsorBlock → https://sponsor.ajay.app qui permet de passer automatiquement certaines portions de vidéo (promo, intro, etc.) et #DeArrow → https://dearrow.ajay.app qui permet de remplacer les aperçus et les titres putaclics des vidéos (en plus de #uBlock Origin pour bloquer les pubs évidemment).
Sinon, #FreeTube → https://freetubeapp.io rassemble tout en un (et avec mode audio possible, plus #écolo).

Using #DeArrow @sponsorblock taught me that lots of youtubers DON'T use clickbait. It is possible to have a normal title in the video.

Here are the tools I use, if anyone's interested.
#DeArrow to browse my YouTube subscriptions (lets me know what to expect without loading the video)
wget can download simple videos on the web
#streamlink is helpful with .m3u8 streams (twitch is the big example; there are others)
#yt-dlp can do just about anything else. I add these flags to keep subtitles and avoid 4k:
yt-dlp --embed-subs -f "bestvideo[height<=1080]+bestaudio"I call those in a loop between letting my laptop sleep:
rtcwake --date "01:00" -m mem && download loop && systemctl suspendGUI tools also exist. E.g. youtube-viewer, youtube-desktop, plus all the front-end options around invidious. Personally I prefer the ritual of running command line tools, but do your own research.

This extension replaces clickbait titles and thumbnails of YouTube with crowd sourced, more accurate ones.
Since I love SponsorBlock extension I wanted to give this a shot, donated a dollar to check it out.

...god, am I glad that I installed #DeArrow in Firefox. It feels like more and more YouTube video titles are just complete horseshit, with only marginal relation to the actual contents of the video, and thumbnails to match.
If y'all make #YouTube videos for a living: I can understand writing titles that grab people's attention, but PLEASE try and stay truthful and descriptive, okay? Don't MISLEAD people into watching your videos.

Habe seit einigen Wochen #DeArrow als Firefox-Add-On installiert, was mich durch Community-Einreichungen native Werbeblöcke in YouTube-Videos überspringen lässt. Aber eine Nebenwirkung ist, dass irgendwie die YouTube-Vorschaubilder oft nicht laden. Sehr seltsamer Bug. Hat das noch wer?
Edit: In den Einstellungen gibt es eine Option für Vorschaubilder-Austauschen, da laden offensichtlich die Alternativen nicht. Einfach aus damit.

@cccfr Ihr wisst das wahrscheinlich schon aber neben #Sponsorblock (blockiert Werbung in Videos) gibt es auch noch #DeArrow vom gleichen Ersteller das Thumpnails und Video Titel crowdsourced und so Clickbait reduziert. Seit neustem ist beides neben den offiziellen Browser Addons auch in #Piped (alternatives Youtube Frontend) integriert! Ich werde in naher Zukunft sicher nicht auf Youtube verzichten können aber damit kann ichs zumindest etwas besser benutzen!
