Dangerous

Pay no attention to destroyer death.
He and all his hangers on 
and familiars many named,
are manifestly all the same.

A dangerous energy is death,
but there are enemies worse
who go by many names, 
thinking they enjoy hegemony,
are similar, but destroyers, all.

Dew on the Dark Wing

Once, I was a dew winged youth 
that must be why 
I delight in the way the wingèd 
carry yellow light with 
pollen, blossom, ink and dark 
dew dripped from the sun above. 

I love the dark, the passing shades 
of bats from out of graves, 
dung, beetle, and dirt dripped 
from graveyard and garden park, 
I must attract a different bird 
who swallowed the poisoned moon.
