Calling all artists, musicians, photographers and craftsmen. One spot I would like to strengthen in my online work is the music / art / talent field. Although small towns like ours promote art, it is sadly lacking and even suppressed in most areas of the country.
As a once-musician, I experienced this personally. Art is key to diversity, health and an active, creative mind. It should be celebrated, not quashed.

I have wildly ambitious hopes for #Fedi evolution.

I hope it will expand platforms, reach & support to where there are serious crowdfunding, subscription & patronage models for #creators, #artists, #writers, #crews, #actors, #craftsmen, #journalists, #designers, #muscians that have ownership of their products and permanent ongoing rights & revenues from their products.

Social + media + journalism + creativity + product but as more democratised, organic, worker + creator structures without so much the Vulture Capitalist parasites & CEO + shareholder pyramid value suck scams.

Every where we look we see what public flotation, shareholders etc have done to our climate, our planet's support humans systems, our natural world and the quality of life of 99.9% of the workforce.

There is a long history of hand carving mother of pearl shells into #pilgrim souvenirs in #Palestine long before the creation of the state of Israel. This detailed #nativity scene is only about 4cm high. I collect them when I see them, they are a reminder of the work of the highly skilled #palestinian #craftsmen that now struggle to survive in their own homeland. #holyland #peace #christmas
