Hatte ich dieses Jahr einfach nur viel Pech oder war die #39c3 #congressapp für iOS auch bei anderen instabil wie nie? Fast bei jedem View-Wechsel crasht sie mir, ins Suchfeld kann ich auf meinem iPhone 12 mini gar nicht tippen, der Zeitraster links ist meistens komplett verschoben (falsche Zeit). Mir ist schon klar dass da viel unbezahlte Arbeit drin ist, und will nicht noch mehr fordern. Aber vielleicht weniger Features? Die App war für mich heuer leider einfach nicht brauchbar :-(

There seems to be some issue with schedule display today. The cause is still unclear but you can switch to list view in the meantime. I will look into it. #CongressApp #39c3

Most sessions in #CongressApp for #39c3 should now contain location links to the @c3nav website.

Using the share menu you can add individual events to your phones calendar in #CongressApp #39c3. Currently this is a one way street. If you want more elaborate options take a look at the #Shortcuts app integration.

The #39c3 #CongressApp includes the “Next up” #Widget for #iOS #macOS and #visionOS. It supports lock screen, small, medium, large and x-large widgets. You can configure each widget individually to show only sessions from e.g. your favorites, a list or a location or even all of this combined. The #CongressApp for #39c3 has substantial support for Shortcuts. You can go through lists and favorites, change favorite status and create or update lists. This also allows you to export data to other apps. E.g. you can create a note with all your favorites. Future versions will add more functionality. If you have a specific use case let me know. This works on all platforms that support Apple #Shortcuts

@c3voc causing me anxiety when the #CongressApp ad for #Infobeamer is “In Review”. For Apple developers that's always hard if something is "In Review”

The first talks released by the @c3voc are now available in the #CongressApp. More will appear as they get released.

It seems push notifications are broken and might require an app update. Reminders still work, but notifications about changes and editorial pushes are broken and will require an app update. #CongressApp #38c3

Version 1.9.4 of #CongressApp is out for #macOS and #iOS today. It brings improved Shortcut features, bugfixes and improved map support.

An upcoming version of #CongressApp (released before #38c3 with a bit of luck) will allow you to use the “Upcoming sessions" that power the widget in the #ShortcutsApp as well. With this you can for example export all your upcoming favorite URLs, titles or mark all upcoming sessions from a certain room as favorites and much more.

Universal links (Opening links to sessions in the app if it's installed) on iOS and macOS should work again in #CongressApp.

With the migration to the hub this was broken for a bit but now it works again. It should work for hub pages and for #fahrplan links as well.

With version 1.9.2 of #CongressApp you can now filter sessions by recording status, so you know which sessions of #38c3 will (not) be recorded.

The #CongressApp for #tvOS is also available now. If you want to follow #38c3 from home this app will give you access to the @c3voc livestreams. And of course you can watch the recordings afterwards as well. Playback progress and favorites are synced with the #iOS and #macOS apps so you can pick up where you left off.

There will be an iOS and macOS app update 1.8.1 for the #37c3 #CongressApp submitted to Apple fixing a few glitches. Among them:
- Crash on iPads when trying to share favorites
- Universal links opening the webview instead of the session in the app
- Add support for session feedback links provided by the Hub
- Add support for Markdown in session and speaker descriptions
