  1. ICYMI: Meta puts AI ahead of support tickets for developers by mid-September: Assistant now fields app review, business verification and API permission queries in plain language. Meta claims approval-rate gains but publishes no figures. ppc.land/meta-puts-ai-ahead-of #Meta #AI #Developers #SupportTickets #AppReview

  3. At this point I truly believe there must be a Fastlane at App Review or something.

All my apps go within less 24h through while everyone complains about long Review times and I have no clue why.

Anyone seeing the same? (this is not a bragg or something)

  4. Submitted: Monday, 7pm
    Approved: Saturday, 10am
Now: Getting ready to wait for a 2-day Beta #AppReview

  5. Perhaps it was just a lucky streak, but my latest three #AppReview submissions were all approved in under 24 hours.

Previous submissions have ranged from just a few minutes to several days. There never seems to be any rhyme or reason to App Review… or maybe there is, and Apple just isn’t telling us.

  6. Making indie app developers wait over a week for App Store review is a great way to kill any momentum they had built around developing their apps further... 😬

  7. ⚡️ New Blog Post: “Tales from App Review”

« It’s painfully ironic that they require my strings to “clearly and completely describe” my use of data, when they themselves so marvelously fail to do so. »

  8. My app has been waiting for Beta app review for 6 days. Today I did some digging trying to figure out if there's anything I can do. I decide to contact Apple to inquire about its review status.

While I'm filling out the contact form, my app switches to "In Review" 🤷🏻‍♂️

  9. FYI: Meta launches Developer Tools MCP, cutting dashboard logins to zero: The beta server exposes 10 tools spanning App Review, compliance status, and webhook data, though write access remains limited to a single function for now. ppc.land/meta-launches-develop #Meta #DeveloperTools #MCP #AppReview #Webhooks

  12. ✨ Oh, joy! Another app promising to save us from our digital ignorance. Loupe is here to educate us poor iPhone users on what our precious apps can see 👀—as if we didn't already suspect they’re spying harder than our nosy neighbors. 🙄🔍 #Groundbreaking #Obvious

  13. 55 hours to approve the release. From 11pm on Tuesday to 6am on Friday. Two full calendar days and a night. Not long ago, this took about 18 hours, now it’s 3x as long. #appstore #appreview

  14. Well shit, now I'm officially in #AppReview Hell. I resubmitted everything to the #AppStore, iOS was approved quickly, but the macOS version got another rejection after 2 days, this time stating that my-in app puchase flow „may mislead or confuse users about the subscription terms or pricing“. Of course, that flow is unchanged for over two years and never been a problem before. @rejected

  15. The #AppStore saga continues: After 8 days, the macOS version was rejected by #AppReview on a metadata technicality, forcing me to also resubmit the already approved iOS version. Lets hope I won’t regret any of this …

  16. Eight days for the Bulletin 2.1 Mac app to get through app review (clean review). Just in time for me to submit 2.1.2 and too slow for 2.1.1 to even be submitted. I guess wait another eight days, then repeat? 🤷‍♂️ #AppReview #Apple #MacOS #IndieDev #iOSDev #WWDC26

  17. It's always worrisome when an app is “In Review” for over 24 hours, especially when it’s just a minor maintenance update…

  18. 🎨📱 Oh, the tragedy! It appears our brave hero, Manton Reece, valiantly battles the Apple overlords in his epic quest to unleash #Inkwell upon the world. Despite a heroic journey filled with rejections and phone calls, his app languishes in review purgatory—clearly a saga for the ages! 🤦‍♂️📜

  20. Ok #appreview I give up. I will no longer make it easy for my users to grant camera and photo access on the first launch during onboarding. You win.

  21. Well, last night #apple #appreview looked at the resubmission of the #visionos version of Vinyl Trackr. They rejected again, but I think I now know what the don’t like. Hope to resubmit this weekend

  22. So far, two days and no responses on my visionOS or macOS versions of my app, from #appreview I am guessing they are being flooded with AI created apps?

  23. It’s coming soon! Just need to get out of #apple #appreview status!

  24. What the heck is going on with #apple #AppReview ? My app has been in review for days, it usually would take a few hours.
