Ich hatte bis vor kurzem einen collabora Server am laufen der die online Bearbeitung von Office Dokumenten im Browser für mehrere Vereine ermöglicht hat. Der Server wurde schon länger nicht mehr geupdated und vor ein paar Tagen von "Hackern" übernommen.

Hat jemand Erfahrungen im Betrieb von #collabora Servern für mehrere #Nextcloud Instanzen? @radlerin @wir @cccfr @bastian @imke

Perso j'utilise @zaclys pour du perso hébergé et configuré chez eux, plus du @ouvaton pour de l'installé et configuré par mes soins en pro. Ouvaton passera en mode ferme d'ici (très ?) peu pour supprimer les contraintes administration et de mises à jour, que demander de plus ?

En cherchant un #hébergementweb #ServeurMutualisé avec une solution #nextcloud #libreoffice / #collabora je me rends compte que les gros fournisseurs hébergeurs restent chers et pas très souples sur les options / personnalisations.

Alors tant qu'à payer un peu moins cher et plus souple, autant faire bosser nos petits #chatons, comme par exemple :

• « Nextcloud Office » = app eurooffice, connecteur vers Euro-Office (fork d'OnlyOffice lancé fin mars 2026 par Nextcloud, IONOS, Proton et d'autres)
• « OnlyOffice » = le connecteur d'origine

Avant installation, se fier à l'identifiant de l'app plutôt qu'à son libellé.

Pentru a alimenta viitorul dispozitiv Steam Frame (bazat pe un procesor Snapdragon 8), Collabora și Valve au dezvoltat Holo Core — o inițiativă masivă de a porta nativ Arch Linux pe arhitectura AArch64 (ARM64).

🛠️ Provocarea tehnică:
Limbajele precum Rust și bibliotecile de bază au necesitat "reconstruirea istoriei". Echipa a trebuit să creeze o infrastructură automată de Integration Continuă (CI) capabilă să parcurgă tot arborele istoric de dependențe Arch și să recompileze pachetele pas cu pas.

💡 Ce aduce acest proiect ecosistemului Open Source:
• 🏗️ Infrastructură CI nouă: Un sistem capabil să reconstruiască de la zero orice snapshot al distribuției.
• 🎁 Cadou pentru comunitate: Întreaga infrastructură CI va fi donată proiectului Arch Linux pentru a ajuta la oficializarea portului AArch64.
• 🧪 Versiune de test disponibilă: Proiectul include un snapshot din noiembrie 2025, pachete precompilate și o imagine de container Docker pentru developeri.

I just updated @OpenCloud from production version 4 to production version 7. It was scary, but successful.

I also found that my #Collabora Office instance admin endpoint was exposed to the public internet with the default admin and password. It is unbelievably embarrassing.

#Collabora has developed along with #ValveSoftware an #aarch64 version of #ArchLinux. Right now they are not providing binary packages for everything in the original distro. @makary I had #Collabora office suite on @nextcloud and it changed to euro-office suite in an update without asking or anything. That's not cool at all.

Ich finde es nicht so gut das #Collabora Office sich für den OOXML-Weg von M$ entschieden hat.

Ich finde es einen Fahler nicht auf offenen Formate ODF zu setzen.

Wir hatten das doch in den 00er Jahren alles schon mal durchgespielt.

@Findaaa Ich habe einen gemieteten Server, auf dem ich mehrere Dienste für Familienmitglieder hoste: #nextcloud, #immich, #collabora, #paperless. Wahrscheinlich ist es nicht schwierig, dort einen #docker mit einer eigenen #mastodon Instanz zu betreiben.

Does anyone know if it's possible to deep link into a bookmark in a document in #Collabora with #Nextcloud? I'm looking for similar behaviour to Google Drive, where the bookmark stub is appended to the link. I don't think you can, but asking just in case I missed something!

Es geht über google , aber google möchte ich nicht nutzen . Es sollte über einen webbrowser gehen und sowohl am Handy als auch am Desktop funktionieren.

a) Unterschiede zu klasssichem Microsoft Office. Also eine Konkordanz von Buttons, Menüpunkten, Funktionen.

b) Best practice für im Browser oft schwierigen Workflows wie drag&drop, Copy&Paste (etwa von Markdown das sofort in saubere Office-Strukturen überführt wird etc.)?

I haven't looked at it yet and wonder how it holds up against #libreoffice + #collabora and the likes.

The fact that it has some large funders behind can be both a #curse and/or a #blessing (for #foss an #opensource in general)!
