Three years ago I made a playlist on #CK2 #CrusaderKings2 about how to play as a Merchant Republic.
My #youtube channel is really small (I just pretend it's niché and artisinal instead of having zero broad appeal) but having this playlist consistently being accessed and viewed makes me really happy.

If you're into grand strategy or dynastic videogames they're a fun bunch to play in Crusader Kings 2. Lot of naval holdings mean you can take a fleet and do something very ahistorical leading to some very funny looking maps.
Sea people all over again.

I found a Forgotten Realms conversion for Crusader Kings II, which is going to suck several thousand hours out of my life.
The problem will be trying to decide to play the FR mod as it has been built or mod the mod to add in elements of my own #RPG setting.
The answer, as always, will be that I'll end up endlessly tinkering with the setting. I love to mod games at least as much as I like to play them. Probably more.
