The #SanFrancisco #CentralSubway makes me want to pay a lot more attention to #transit projects that are many many years out, because there’s a chance to stop more of the catastrophic concessions and shortcuts that transit capital projects inevitably attract. It’s full of fundamental issues, and avoiding even a few of them would’ve made it a much more useful system.

#ArtAdventCalendar Day 7: Fujifilm X-TRA 400 steeped in lemon juice and camomile. I wasn't a fan of how most shots turned out effect-wise (mostly normal with few enough splotches to look messy and distracting). I think this one turned out great.

@Eeeszy agreed, there are plenty of households who would love to live #CarFree in San Francisco, and housing in this central location should be prioritized for them.
it's a waste of our investment in the #CentralSubway and #Caltrain to house people here who are going to live next to rail and drive anyway.

The opening of the #centralsubway in #sanfrancisco is coming closer and closer, so my #transitmap needed an update too. Now with parks and better transfer symbolism.

This new underground walkway between Powell station and Union Square is one of my favorite places. It’s something about the combination of brutalist walls, spaceship ceiling, and crazy escalator into the deep. And it’s so loooooong. I feel like it could just as easily be on Mars.
