A small but meaningful update to Vienna’s rapid transit network: today the new U2 station “Lina-Loos-Platz” officially opened.
To mark the occasion, I’ve updated my geographical Vienna U-Bahn map, inspired by the classic Paris Metro map designs. The new version includes the added station, refined labeling and network logic, and lines under construction as well as future lines.

I’ve updated my schematic network map of Plauen’s bus, night bus and tram system 🗺️
The revision reflects the recent network optimisation, including a new tram line concept, adjusted service frequencies and a reorganised night network.
The goal of the update was to translate these structural changes into a clear and readable map, making the current system easier to understand at a glance.

A fellow transit user known as Ernest Wong is making some kind of update to the improved RapidKL transit map.
Two new labels are added to highlight and given emphasis about two changes to the map:
1. LRT3 - isn’t opened yet; will only open in 2025
2. KTM Skypark - line is suspended since Feb 2023; alternative bus routes to airport shownThe labels are now pasted on top of official maps in some stations in Kuala Lumpur.

Today, the HistoricNYC account on Instagram posted a stunning photo from the top of the Flatiron Building, showing old streetcar tracks that ran in front of the building. I posted an excerpt from one of my transit maps in progress from the same perspective and offered a brief history of these streetcar lines.
