@alexproe @hengymrohebwlad Yes, I see rejoining as a 20-year-ish project. Rejoining the SM or CU (or both) would be a good first step. At the moment, Starmer is saying he plans to do neither.

I think his plan to ease trade has something to do with cake.

What is beneficial is trade on mutually agreed terms. There is no question of #cakeism but if the #UK is prepared to listen to what the #EU wants in order to smooth trade, and agree to some of those requirements, there will be benefits.

There is only one way to salvage some of what we lost with #brexit - cooperate wth the #EU and agree #alignment to mutual benefit
