I just realized that I forgot to post about my ride yesterday, and I should have as it was the longest of the season at 66 miles. I was assisting #BikeMN with checkout of the Med City Meander routes, including the new Rotary Ramble 50+ mile route that I assisted in designing. I found out the hard way that due to a road construction project the county failed to notify us of, we have to reroute. So I submitted an alternate route late yesterday. I hope it works, I will be out of town.

Bicycled Root River Trail on a warm day for here. 3 bicyclists, 3 dog walkers, 1 walker, and a person in camouflage clothing with a rifle (hunting season for what now? Isn"t deer hunting by rifles over?).
Yesterday a track team was running. One of them in short sleeves and shorts. Brr. Too cold for me. I'm still wearing 3 layers on the warmer day today.

Gorgeous spring day, Loud Mouth Brass rocked the downtown rest stop and the meander really did meander around the rivers and lakes. And spied @MartyCormack on the trail too. #MNastodon #BikeTooter

Today was a warm late summer day and was a nice day for the first ever #BikeMN Twin Cities Bike Tour, through Saint Paul and Minneapolis for 49 miles. It was a really nice route, most of the segments I have ridden before except for Wheelock Parkway and the Dinkytown Greenway. I ran into several of my #bicycle friends from #RochMN and visited with some at the rest stops. I would say it was a great success and I hope to ride it next year.
