  1. Bicycled the Root River Trail to Lanesboro today.

    12 bicyclists. 4 electric bikes. 2 bunnies. 5 squirrels.

Peterson bathrooms are open. Peterson Gnome is by the Peterson sign on the trail.

    Whalan Depot is open.

Purple, and yellow flowers on the sides of the trail. Small white butterflies (or moths) all along the trail until it started drizzling rain.

  2. Bicycled to Peterson and back and part of the way to Houston and back.

    11 people on bicycles

    2 electric bikes.

1 electric upright trike. Expo on the frame. Reminded me of Expo brand markers. Could the bike be modified to lay down washable marker paint fro its tires? Who knows?

2 really fast bicyclists on the paralell street in Peterson.

    1 chipmunk. Second since yesterday.

  3. I always thought snow glittering was artistic license in paintings. It wasn't until I moved here that I saw snow glistening. Snow doesn't do that in North Alabama.

Best I could get from my phone. More amazing IRL.

  4. I liked Brie Larson as "Captain Marvel" in that movie, but I *really* love this one.

The Flerkens are the sort of thing that make me love comicbook stories, the sheer absurdity and the suspension of disbelief required.

  5. The storyline reminded me more of the Mar-Vell version in the comicbooks than what Carol Danvers usually dealt with, with the Kree-Skrull conflict and the hard choices that had to be made.

I've always liked Teyonah Parris' performances and she did a great job as Monica Rambeau and her personal uncertainty and inner strength and intelligence.

  6. Watched "The Marvels" last night. What a fun movie!

I just finished G. Willow Wilson's run on the comicbooks a couple of years. Iman Vellani is wonderful as Kamala Khan, capturing her fan geek moments perfectly. And the actors playing her family are great, showing their family strength and toughness in such a weird situation.
