I believe I have found one of the more convoluted ways to "work around" a Linux sound arch issue, assuming it works. Trying to play Helldivers 2 with a headset and controller. Well they both use dongles. All my input devices do, actually, PC is in another "room" in this RV. Turns out the headset and controller are on the same freq, or real close, as they interfere with each other. To compound things, Bluetooth sound is harder on Linux than I realized. 1/? #Linux #Garuda #ArchBased #LinuxAudio

Well it took 2 tries to get #GarudaLinux installed. First try hung at 29%. Dialogue was unresponsive. Rebooted and tried again, zipped through. Rebooted.. into the old Garuda.. wtf.. oh, hell. Forgot this old mobo's BIOS only looks into the first SATA/USB connection for boot record. So I had to swap the old HDD and new SSD. Then I booted into new install. Updated, installed almost all the extras I wanted (PGP key on one was outdated) and rebooted again. SSDs load fast, lol. #ArchBased 1/2

I re-installed my A/V-dedicated laptop today, switched from #avlinux to #manjaro after testing this #archbased system for some months.
