Moin ihr Lieben,
ich habe hier ein spezifisches Problem, welches zwar provisorisch gelöst wurde, aber die Ursache ist noch nicht behoben:
Beim KDE Update auf 6.6.0 (und 6.6.1 hat das Problem natürlich nicht behoben) hat der neue Kernel einen Kernel Panic Screen ausgelöst und ich musste umständlich über das Advanced Menü den vorherigen Kernel booten. Provisorisch gelöst jetzt mit Grub, der sich den nun älteren gebooteten Kernel merkt. Aber was ist die Ursache des Problems?
Ich konnte nur beim oberflächlichen Suchen auf der Ubuntu Forum Seite finden, dass das angeblich eine Inkompatibilität von Virtualbox und VMWare wäre. Weiß da jemand mehr drüber und wenn ja, wie löst man das Problem?

Gestern abend war mal wieder "Technik die begeistert" Moment... Nicht begeistert. Ubuntu hat (ob er heute morgen immer noch besteht, weiß ich erst wenn ich es nochmal versucht habe) einen Serverausfall, über den einen Teil der Updates von KDE Neon laufen, weil das ja Ubuntu-Unterbau ist. Erst mal die Bug-Reports lesen müssen, um das rauszufinden. Warum kann man bei einem so gravierenden Problem nicht eine zentrale News dazu raushauen? 😤🫤
Dazu zusätzlich hatte die Telekom gestern auch ein Internetproblem hier in meiner Region.
Ich habe gestern mal wieder fluchend vor meinem Laptop gesessen, bis ich raus gefunden hatte, dass nicht meine Geräte an dem Chaos schuld sind... Mmpf.

Nachtrag: Eben versucht, das Update ist immer noch nicht möglich, weil der Ubuntu-Server immer noch nicht erreichbar ist. Na toll. Naja, dann halt heute nicht mehr. Werd da mal in ein paar Tagen rein schauen. 🤷‍♀️

Do I missing something and is the list correct?

I'm trying out #Rkward on my new #KDEneon install. Is there any way in an #Rmarkdown script to highlight the code blocks/chunks in the script editor? They now have the same background as the rest of the script, and don't really stand out.

The three backticks / graves at the start and end of the code block do have a different background colour, but not the code in between.

Jetzt mit neuem #OS und etwas besseren Hardwareteilen mal kurzer Bericht zu meiner bisherigen #Erfahrung damit die ersten Tage:

#kdeneon KDE Neon ist - bis auf den von KDE selbst verschuldeten Bug beim Updaten (steht auf deren Website dazu) - bisher recht angenehm für mich. Allerdings fiel mir auf, dass #Tools, die in #Kubuntu direkt bei OS-Installation mit installiert werden, in Neon nicht vorhanden sind und nachinstalliert werden müssen. Das betrifft so Dinge wie den KDE Kalender #KOrganizer, den #KCalc für einen Matherechner, Libre Office und ein paar weitere Dinge mehr. Neon ist ziemlich blank am Anfang. Ebenso hab ich keine Paketverwaltung gefunden (oder ich weiss nicht wo, aber wenn so versteckt schwierig). Deshalb eben diese Tools runtergeladen und auch in einer VM bei Sohnemann mal in Kubuntu reingeschaut, was es da noch für Tools gibt, die gut sind und direkt mit dabei. Da kam mir #Muon #Paketverwaltung in den Blick. Runtergeladen und finde sie bisher sehr gut. Tools bzw Pakete, die man installieren möchte, sind damit einfach zu suchen und dann auch runterzuladen.

But with #keepassxc and #skrooge there is an annoying issue that prevent me to use them. Both apps open files in read-only mode, so you can't save and reuse anything 😖 .
