Still amazed stuff like this Trousseau (aka Bastardo) can now be sold without State Stores in PA! This is a bit earthy, light, bright and pale. Medium bodied at best, nominal backbone. It's soft, a bit thin and easy, but very lively. It's a nice summer red. Alas, it's not summer and $63 in PA seems like a lot for what it is, and the niche it fills for me. Fun, but a long way from profound. Acidity will preserve it, but it's likely not turning into much else. 12.5% alc.
