Trouvé au fond d'une mine, qui a servie successivement de :
- carrière de pierre (calcaire)
- camp de travail lors de l'occupation
- champignonnière
-et enfin, de laboratoire de recherche (aujourd'hui très largement détruit) pour étudier les comportement et déformations des roches.
Fun de trouver des traces de tout cela! -

Day 31: Clock & Science
HABOG is the Dutch storage building for all high-level radioactive wastes. The colour of the structure becomes progressively less intense, just as the heat and radiation of the waste stored inside decreases with time. In doing so, the building demonstrates the concept of radioactive decay.

Silencieux, météo et prise à l'étranger.
Lever de la lune en 3 temps (15h17, 15h23 et 15h39).
Ferme d'Austvaðsholt (région d'Hella), le 3 décembre dernier. Cette ferme est occupée par un islandais et son épouse française. Ils organisent des excursions équestres dans les montagnes entre la fin du printemps et le début de l'hiver.
Vue de l'Hekla, (1488 m alt). Quand il pétera, ce ne sera pas un petit petit pétard comme les cratères de la péninsule du Reykjanes...

Les cloches de l'Hallgrímskirkja qui sonnent toutes les 15 minutes. Un bon moyen pour éviter que les gens ne restent trop longtemps au sommet du clocher de l'immense église reykjavikoise ? Photo prise il y a 15 jours.

Day 31 of #photoctober2023 and I'm trying for the bonus!
A new one from my latest batch of film - this is ICM on redscale film, as inspired by @carusb
I think this hits "weird", "film", "stripes", "vertical", "blurred", "shot in 2022" and - if you squint a bit - the quirks of redscale film makes it "science" and "mostly red"!
For the #BelieveInFilm crowd - I used Redeye Redscale film, exposed at ISO 12 (so about 4 stops over box speed)

#PhotOctober2023 #Day31 The final day! I was lucky enough to view the Nebra Sky Disc at the British Museum last year. It is made using gold from Cornwall and bronze from central Europe. Like Stonehenge's alignment, the bands on either side marked the positions of the rising and setting sun over the course of the solar year. Dates from c1800BC

This was just a test shot of the starry bokeh of the Industar vintage lens, that perfectly matches today's terms. A blurry BCD (binary coded decimal) clock showing 16:05:47 in the back, and a Raspberry Pi in the front: a project to improve computer science education.

Thème 2 : jardin extraordinaireLe merveilleux jardin anglo-japonais du château de Courances, découvert cet été 😍
Il fut créé dans les Années folles.En regardant "Le sens de la fête" avec les enfants cette semaine, j'ai remarqué que le film avait justement été tourné dans les jardins de ce château, aux plans d'eau et fontaines reconnaissables entre mille.
