2002 UK pressingToday is my beautiful wife’s birthday, and this is per her request as we kick off her day’s festivities.
About A Boy is a movie I’ve NEVER seen. Not once.
However, its soundtrack is something I’ve revelled in hundreds of times. When my wife and I got our first apartment together 18 years ago in Rhode Island, this (along with The National’s Boxer) was a record that was constantly on as we fixed the place up, and decorated it to try to make it our own. So the two of us share a very special connection to it.I would put the song “A Minor Incident” near the top of my wife and I’s “our songs” list.
Just a really great collection of songs.
As far as the movie goes, I don’t think I’ll ever need to see it, as I loathe and despise Hugh Grant.

#MiddleSchoolTheWorstYearsOfMyLife is wonderful and encapsulates what you want from a kids’ #film though I could leave Bear.
#LoveLife has them doing Cats for a moment so I had the fan thing of recognising costumes and makeup. It opened with a small thing that was a strong way to set up the character.
The less silly of the comedies are #AboutABoy and #LifeInPieces. Silly ones I still found funny - #Impastor, #TheMick, #ManWithAPlan and #JustGoWithIt.
