Andy #Burnham casually admitted on a podcast the words that no #UK government minister has ever said. Chatting away on the Rest of Politics, he mentioned that he’d asked officials about #Russian interference in #Brexit and had been informed in no uncertain terms that there was.
He just came right out and said it! As if the then-Prime Minister, #BorisJohnson, hadn’t personally buried parliament’s intelligence committee’s Russia Report right before the crucial 2019 general election that gave him his hard Brexit mandate. As if, Johnson’s first act on winning wasn’t to attend a party thrown his honour by the son of a former FSB spy. As if, Nigel #Farage’s close friend and political ally, Nathan Gill, wasn’t sentenced to ten and a half years for accepting Russian #bribes earlier this year.
