#copyleft -

Awesome speech of the #Barbados PM in the #UN #MiaMottley. I came for the clickbait and staid for the speech.

@shupfel There were quite many #BSD developers interested in #launchd. The drama around system seems to be really a Linux thing.

@debacle @alienghic I wish there was a package for those projects that use #Doxygen or those that #Qt's #QDoc.
Some projects such as KDE use docbooks, there's a rudamentary mode for them:
https://elpa.gnu.org/packages/docbook.htmlWith doxygen , Qt or Pythons API doc doc the documentation often doesn't really look like a manual like in Info mode I think there
should be a separate mode for such to view them or something that makes them easier to view in a single page per object. -

As a #German person outside of #Germany also called #Auslandsdeutscher (German outside of the country) you are not able
to vote without applying first.
In didn't manage to apply to the #EUelections24 in time as you have to send the letter via post to the last city of residence
in your home country (assuming they can handle the application). I assumed I'm at least allowed to vote where I live (Finland).
But turns out as long as you don't apply you can't vote..

The whole #xzBackdoor story makes me wonder why we still found goverment programs and public systems
such as public transport or information system with money while those systems stay closed source and for profit.
Some people still think that everyone has give their share and not be a freeloader when using public infrastructure
even thou systems like these only cost us more money.

@emilymbender @fps_gbg IMHO the final issue with any issue is that if the people in charge are able to
see issues in things they and can adjust. If they want this and don't care of the repercussions any logical argument is lost on them, the only move is to
replace them. There are some many people with authority that ignore scientific consensus for ideological reasons that is has become really dangerous
in for us.

You can even create prebuilt images with everything you need using kiwi. -
@multimeric For what distribution are you compiling? Using a package manager and building packaging
isn't all that difficult. With services such as the #openbuildservice it is quite easy to build packages of any kind and have a repository for them.

In the last few months I have learned in #Finland you are not supposed to talk back to the #childservices, especially as a #foreigner.
No matter what they do, however unfair or unjust they behave dont talk back just do what they tell you.
They act solely on the law, but the law allows them to judge themselves how to act. Judge and judge in one.I noticed as a foreigners you draw the short stick in any case because you are judged by their own values. What is ok in your culture
does not matter -
@christian Nested KVM ist für VMs also z.B. #openbuildservice oder andere CI services. Docker braucht kein nested KVM außer du verwendest Windows.
