  1. Hm. Trying to watch #Olympics snowboarding on #PeacockTV in desktop #Firefox browser on #Linux. It will happily play the ad before starting the stream, and then just goes to a black screen without the content. I have DRM content enabled in settings, have tried turning off ublock on that site, no user agent switching extension.

  2. Playing 3x3 ice hockey is crazy. There's just o.much time and space to get in your head about where to go and how to handle the puck.

  3. Justin watching S2E08 of #Andor, "Who Are You?" And holy crap it is depressingly prescient. Great day to #PunchANazi I guess.

  4. Wishing y'all a #festive #WinterSolstice! We're on the road today so I didn't bring my #YuleGoat, Yuli. Also, some of the folks were going to see would probably insist on an annoying conversation about their religion if I had. We'll put him to flame when we get back home, though.

  5. Plugged my #MustangMicroPlus into my #Linux PC running #FenderStudio with #JACK audio connection kit. When I click to select input for a track, I'm presented with a list shown in the attached photo. Many of the latter devices just cause a feedback loop. How do I find out more information on what these device "names" mean? Really I would just be expecting the list to have just included one mono and one stereo, _maybe_ options for mono left and mono right.

  10. Anybody having luck with #FenderStudio on #Android? I can usually get into the main menu. But if the audio setup even shows my device (tried both #MustangMicro and #MustangMicroPlus) then selecting it crashes the app. I've tried clearing cache, clearing cache and data, clearing cache+data and reinstalling, and it just doesn't want to work.

  15. Making my annual straw #YuleBock, Yuli. Not really sure when I'm _supposed_ to make it but I feel like it's late this year. Also not sure if I should burn it on the #solsrice or on #NewYearsEve. Banana for scale. Goat not to correct anatomical scale.

  16. #Networking question:

I want to have a separate #WLAN (by way of #VLAN) for my IoT devices (separate #SSID, too), but my #Wifi APs are not natively VLAN-aware. If I have a managed switch that can tag its ports with different VLAN IDs, can I just connect one set of APs for the IoT WLAN to switch ports with the same VLAN ID and the rest of my devices (including the main home network SSID APs) to the untagged switch ports? My router is VLAN aware.

  21. It's a couple of days late but the #YuleTree is up and decorated.

  22. So I'm trying out #Fedora 43's #KDE spin on my #SurfacePro 9 with a live USB. I know about #SurfaceLinux if I decide to go all in with it. The network browser in Dolphin seems to be using '.local' for my instead of the search domain configured in /etc/resolv.conf. This seems to cause authentication to fail trying to access shares. I can manually type in the right hostname, but curious why it's putting that '.local' in there at all.
