@baronvonj @georgetakei Your stagnant 'belief' is exactly why so many democrat/republican duopolists, are collapsing the US.
Most modern industrialized nations have more than two parties, for that very reason. Capitalistic greed is the driving force to minimizing sustainable differentials, and now it's not only the poorest class in the US suffering from these abuses of power, it's the middle classes as well - a long developed grift from the upper 1%, wealthiest oppressors.

My #garmin doesn't seem to be charging anymore. The connector is proprietary so I don't want to drop money on it and find out it's the watch that's broken. I took out my multimeter and tested continuity and resistance of all four pins in the cable. That seemed to indicate the cable is good, but I didn't test voltage. Can I assume at this point the cable is good and it's the watch's jack that's busted?

Really productive week at the #gym. Started using the new #Workouts app from #JeffNippard. I like the capability to plot out progressive overload in exercise sets over the course of the training program. It could really use a web site, though, instead of being app-only.

Just saw a #Nitro #Snowboard in the men's #Olympics half pipe qualifiers. Got to googling and found this retrosnow.com site, and holy crap the wave of nostalgia ... Craig Kelly, Shawn Palmer, Dan Donnelly, Terry Kidwell, Noah ... Lib Tech, Avalanche.
The last board I bough was a Nitro like this one
https://retrosnow.com/shop/nitro/92/nitro-pyro/
The first was like this Sims Terry Kidwell

So #PeacockTV have officially stated they don't support #Linux and are simply telling me "please use another device." Even when I pointed out how many of their competitors working on Linux, including live sports. So I've tried a user agent switcher to claim Windows and still no can haz content.

Glad to see more than a few #HoustonSaberCats landing with other teams. I _think_ #SeattleSeawolves have more former Cats than any other team, with #AnthemRC and #ChicagoHounds each pulling in a few players, too.

Hm. Trying to watch #Olympics snowboarding on #PeacockTV in desktop #Firefox browser on #Linux. It will happily play the ad before starting the stream, and then just goes to a black screen without the content. I have DRM content enabled in settings, have tried turning off ublock on that site, no user agent switching extension.

#Networking question:
I want to have a separate #WLAN (by way of #VLAN) for my IoT devices (separate #SSID, too), but my #Wifi APs are not natively VLAN-aware. If I have a managed switch that can tag its ports with different VLAN IDs, can I just connect one set of APs for the IoT WLAN to switch ports with the same VLAN ID and the rest of my devices (including the main home network SSID APs) to the untagged switch ports? My router is VLAN aware.
