I was so very tickled to get this in the mail after spotting it for sale on eBay, as it is an exact duplicate of the very first novel that I read on my own.
One of the greatest gifts that my Mom gave to me was the love of reading. She would read to me and my sister a few evenings a week, and like most kids that age, it was fairly image-rich and simply worded content.
I however, started asking for more.
Years ago when my father was losing his mind over the Lions I told him to turn the game off and to do something else.
He actually listened to me.
Today I’m following that same advice.
