Travelling tomorrow and I've sat up all night fighting with UnixWare and qemu 😤
7.1.1 recognises the IDE CDROM as primary slave at least, but 7.1.3 and 7.1.4 refuse to in any configuration.
Tried SCSI and it still wouldn't install, yet it's able to load the HBA from the disc so fsck knows what's wrong.

Found photos of my old satellite dish! It came with a Nokia C-band LNB :D
Photos were uploaded in 2007 but not sure when I had the dish from/to.

Forum is looking much better. It still has that WWWBoard / Mr Fong Device feel but more modern-looking.
Not sure on the full thread display yet though, it feels a bit wonky!

So, https://cryogenix.org is live - a Web 1.x / JavaScript-free community platform that evolved from CyberArmy's Dinah which in turn was based on the Mr Fong Device fork of WWWboard, ie. from CGI #Perl & mod_perl 1.x (~30 years!).
It's a mess, but that makes it the perfect project for anyone looking for experience in Perl & #Mojolicious - though being Web 1.x is a feature, not a bug!
As much as I like patching it for my own use, I'd love for others to contribute...

A few years ago mhinz and I reimplemented CyberArmy's Dinah backend using #Mojolicious.
Dinah was originally written for mod_perl and somewhat based on the Mr Fong Device (which was used for CA's forum before Dinah), an early CGI Web BBS written in #perl.
Over the years there were plans and attempts to modernise it, first using mod_perl 2.x, then Java, but nothing materialised and CA came apart at the seams.

Yesterday I picked up the book "I AM FULL", by #DanYashinaky, at the wonderful #Spacing bookstore.
Read it in one sitting. Beautiful, funny and heartbreaking.
It tells the story of Dan's son Jacob Evan Yashinsky-Zavitz, pulled from his poems, letters, speeches, as well as from Dan's own journal, after Jacob died in a car accident on family vacation.
Jacob had intense hunger #hyperphagia that can accompany #PraderWilliSyndrome. And occasional #psychosis . He was also a kind and witty soul.
