If you think it'd be impossible to make a musical about this Gander event, you'd be wrong.
We saw "Come from Away" this summer at the Guthrie Theater and we loved it. Learned a lot.
"Gander's role in hosting more than 6,000 diverted passengers became the basis for the Tony Award-winning musical Come From Away, which tells the story of how the town's residents famously opened their doors.
"The musical became a symbol of the friendship between Canada and the US."

Well, Bush Jr and Trump are very different types, both politically and psychologically.
After 9/11, Bush needed a state of emergency to push through authoritarian policies. Trump, on the other hand, creates this state of emergency himself politically, as he thrives on constant conflict.
Bush Jr, on the other hand, was a typical neo-conservative establishment politician, whereas Trump belongs to the category of populist authoritarians. He is more fixated on himself than Bush Jr, more impulsive, more easily offended and dependent on constant validation. Bush Jr came across as a rather limited power-seeking politician, but one who was dependent on his group and ideologically malleable.

Saw fragments of a tv doco about 9/11 last night.
Back then it was the biggest branding event I'd ever seen.
Trump has surpassed that IMO with his flooding on multiple fronts.
(All with the complicity of the mass media who're seeking viewer attention.)

Born OTD in 1964 (June 8th)... James "Jamie" Navarro -- a gay rights activist and co-founder of #BAGLY -- The Boston Alliance of #LGBTQ+ Youth. Unfortunately, he passed away at age 50 in 2014 (from complications caused by being at 9/11 and exposed to whatever was in the air). He was one of my dearest friends, and one of the bravest human beings I've known (he was openly gay in the 1980s). I fiercely defended him and still think of him often.

I just learned there's a huge gap in the Epstein files that were released. Almost nothing for the years 2000 & 2001.
Pair this with one email that got out where Maxwell is invited to join some "shadow commission" on 9/11 along with a few other things and a clear pattern starts to form.
I had dropped the whole "inside job" conspiracy thing 20 years ago, but now I'm back. And it all certainly lines up well with what's happening in the middle east right now.
