  1. An intestinal disorder linked to malnutrition and stunted growth, known as environmental enteric dysfunction (EED), can be transmitted from mothers to offspring via inflammatory bacteria in the small intestinal microbiome. This microbial influence begins to harm fetal development in utero.

Surgeon Rithvik Reddy operated for eight hours on both boys, who were born prematurely with profound #deafness. The #NSW #government committed AUD$20 million to expand cochlear implant funding.

  3. In his own words, here is one of the US's leading pediatric urologists and a key author of the American Academy of Pediatrics's 2012 Task Force on Circumcision. In 2026, Dr. Freedman is debunking myths about circumcision that many health care professionals believe.

Over four decades, the doctor cared for about 8,000 #infants, and his sideshow proved incubators worked, eventually pushing hospitals to adopt the #technology that remains standard in NICUs today.

Doctors believe the drug’s fluorescent metabolites accumulated in the corneas. The effect was temporary, with the infant's natural brown eye color returning 5 days after treatment ended, leaving no permanent damage to his vision.

Very interesting pre-print on C-section delivery and oxytocin and vasopressin.

    Why voles?
"The use of voles as subjects here also offers several advantages.
First, voles tolerate room temperature housing well [36], without the metabolic [37,38], autonomic [12,39] and
neuroendocrine [40] consequences faced by mice housed at room temperature. Voles are undomesticated,
which means their OXT and AVP systems have not undergone artificial selection as in mice [41]. "

  14. Would you wish cancer upon a child? No?

Would you wish cancer upon a child, if the odds were below a full 100% - say, "with most studies reporting a range of 13% to 25%"[1]?

Pediatric patients with long-COVID report high symptom burden, which appears to meet or exceed that of other chronic health conditions (eg, cancer, type 1 diabetes, asthma, and sickle cell disease)[1]

Do you ask your child to wear an uncomfortable seat belt so that, in the unlikely event of a crash, they are less likely to be seriously harmed?

Have you considered having a talk with them about airborne pathogens, and the health burdens of sequelae? Because wearing an N95 is a LOT less awkward than a symptom burden exceeding cancer.

A comprehensive nationwide study demonstrates that while celiac patients may have a history of higher antibiotic use, the medication itself does not trigger the disease.

To use our voices, our time, our talents, and our money to support organizations that educate and empower rather than silence and punish.
