Happy that we @inbo supported 🚀 faster 🚀 qgis_process + #GRASSGIS Provider + overall startup time in #QGIS 3.36 !
https://changelog.qgis.org/en/qgis/version/3.36/#faster-grass-provider-startup
Great work @nyalld! 👌
This significantly benefits startup time of R 📦 #qgisprocess 🙂 https://r-spatial.github.io/qgisprocess

#GRASSGIS algorithms used to be named as 'grass7:<algorithm>' in #QGIS. But they also work with GRASS GIS 8!
Since QGIS 3.36 the provider is named... 'grass' ! Just use the algorithm syntax 'grass:<algorithm>'.
Example with R 📦 #qgisprocess: https://r-spatial.github.io/qgisprocess/articles/qgisprocess.html#second-example

First CRAN release of 📦 #qgisprocess became reality: use QGIS processing algorithms in R !
Website: https://r-spatial.github.io/qgisprocess
CRAN page: https://cran.r-project.org/package=qgisprocess
Some features:
- needs no QGIS project, just use R
- integrates with sf, terra, stars, raster for input/output
- supports QGIS processing pluginsAcknowledgements in the reply!

🍕 hey st.pete/tampa, be sure to check out Florish pizza. They have a huge variety and you can build your own. Super easy and quick to get takeout, too. Even non-veg people we've brought there love it. Go now or plan to go there this week! https://www.eatflorish.com/

Just published a guide on using changelogen + a custom AI slash command to auto-generate and clean up your `CHANGELOG.md` from Conventional Commits. Duplicate issues gone, contributor names fixed, semantic bumps handled.

Ever wondered how to build an offline, personal RAG chatbot? 💬 I just shared a guide on creating a simple, local-only solution using Bun, libSQL, LangChain.js, and Ollama. 💻✨
🌐 While everyone’s out there using Python for this kind of thing, I tackled it in JavaScript/TypeScript! No cloud dependency or API keys—just your machine and local resources. Perfect for anyone who wants privacy and full control. 🛡️
