When it comes to running, buying shoes can be an arms race.

Bad week for the rocket billionaires, pour out some diethyl ether for the homies.

I feel like with the whole Reality Fracture storyline and the amount of times they've said the words "What If?" in marketing it...
There's obviously going to be a "What If?.." Marvel set. They need to print 6 infinity stones - Spider-Man, Super Heroes, X-Men, What If?, Infinity War, Civil War - is my guess

Will the publicly richest man (and known securities fraudster) in the world bail out his shitty toxic-branded car company that is a shell company for tax credits, merge that company with a trillion dollar IPO rocketry company backed by the US government, where he owns like 85% of the voting shares?
Elon Musk says yes, but CNBC coyly says "mmmmmmmaybeeeeee"

I can't wait for the yoots to grow up and have the show The Office be entirely foreign to them because it depicts several employees all working in one place in person, and people are talking on the phone.

It's because Netenyahu and Trump decided to assassinate the leadership of a country that controls the choke point for 20% of global oil exports, and then global oil exports dropped because of predictable retaliation, leading to higher gas prices that get passed down through the global supply chain.
This is why prices will be fucked through until at least after Christmas.
As a roundabout lesson, this is why informed participation in elections is important.

For reference, Target folded as a brand in Canada in less than a year.

RTJ4 for good measure, go listen to those back-to-back today.

Today’s music is Ganja White Night’s new album #Sprouted , IMO their strongest album. Lots of cool collaborations and tons of fun easy bopping bass.

Today’s music is LSZEE, a collaboration between CloZee and LSDream. I love both these artists in their own right, and this project brings both their awesome flavours to the table. It’s soaring and fun, it makes an environment and plays around in it. So I not only recommend this album, but also both of their whole discographies, they don’t miss.

Today’s recovery run was an experiment - 15 mins in the treadmill 7.1; 1.75 miles, and then 30 minutes on the elliptical 3.5 miles. Works out to something like 8.5ish km, pretty chill. I’m gonna go have a bath now.

First run of the year earlier tonight. A 10 minute warmup and then 20 minutes 7.5, 15 minutes 7.8, 15 minutes 7.5. Not bad for the amount of sitting on floors I did in the past week and a half. This was probably as many or more steps than I took over the Christmas break :/ Feels good to be back.

4x30 min elliptical session.
14.46 miles 23.14 km roughly. 145-160bpm heart rate through the session. 5 min warmup at 6 resist, 70rpm Stuck to the plan and then did 7 res at 75rpm more or less the whole time.
First set powered off while I was trying to take a pic, 3.54, It’s not accurate anyways :/
Turned out to be a decent workout since I don’t want to blow out my knees before the new year even starts. This is a decent alternative for easy long runs I guess. #running #elliptical #cardio

Zip zap zop, get that gwop. Really started sucking about halfway through, good habits really helped make up for the motivation.
