dirtbag confessions: when i lived in japan sometimes i would surreptitiously drop an airplane bottle of bailey’s into my coffee at starbucks.
just reminded of this bc i saw a skit of a guy picking up a “trendy starbucks girl” but for “trendy” he used the mojibake お洒落 (alcohol drop) and i got a little nervous/excited about my dirtbag nonsense getting normalized 😆

A lot of people are speculating (and I'm now one of them) if TRUMP was #Epstein's *procurer* (not just #Maxwell), not just a "customer".Between his "Miss Teen USA" pageant and hiring under-aged girls to work at #MagaLoco's "spa", there's plenty of smoke to suggest he wasn't just using Jeff's "services".
The #NarcissistInChief doesn't care about anyone but himself, so he's not protecting anyone.
It certainly would explain his desperation to keep the files under wraps. #Dirtbag

Bullshit. I'll bet you anything that it is not a desensitization to violence *generally speaking* which is happening. It is people not giving a fuck about a dirtbag's killing.
They did not cry when some mob boss was offed by someone.
Same thing here.
I, for one, am not desensitized to violence. I am saddened every time a fucking cop decides to shoot a black person in the back. Sometimes to the point of crying.

Back when I was a #dirtbag climber bum, there were no climbing gyms, so this is a new thing to me.
An interesting cultural quirk that I noticed today: strangers don't seem to chat much with each other, cheer each other on, congratulate each other when someone pulls off a hard bouldering move or whatever.
Those things routinely happen on actual crags. At rock climbing areas, even shy little me can easily strike up conversations with people, but the bouldering part of the gym feels like any other gym where everyone is doing their own private thing. The vibe is more "gym" than "climbing."
It is what it is, I guess, but it feels lonely compared to rocks.

#DirtBag #ProTip: I always carry a spray bottle of 70% isopropyl alcohol with me in the truck. It's a great way to quickly clean your hands and feet when you're #camping. Spray them down, let it sit for a few seconds and then wipe it off with paper towels. I also use it to clean utensils.
It's great for #climbing as well, because it cuts through the aluminum oxide from gear, chalk, dirt, etc. and helps disinfect cuts and scrapes in the process.
Isopropyl doesn't kill norovirus though, so I also have a spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide that I use if I've been around campground restrooms and what not and don't have easy access to soapy water.

I saw some place on the map called "fossil falls" on BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land. There's a little primitive campground here. Can't imagine there are actually any fossils in this area because it is all very volcanic. There's a hiking trail to the falls.
Thought I would sleep outside on the ground, but got swarmed by mosquitoes instantly when I stepped out, so I'm rearranging the truck for sleeping, which I wasn't set up for on this trip.
