David Climenhaga, in his most recent column, linked the #FYFP coffee mug artist... at Weird Neighbour, an Edmonton based business ... let's show them some love:

Here in #Nassau I've encountered several of the 50 year commemorative quarters.
25 Cents (Central Bank of The #Bahamas)
https://en.numista.com/418803While I was expecting colourful bank notes, I was quite pleasantly surprised to see colour in my change. It's fairly understated, but still stands out in a handful of change.

Back when I was doing my anchor practice, I was annoyed that I couldn't figure out how to load the anchor plugin in #OpenCPN , so I had to download a stand alone Android app.
Now I figured out my mistake. There is no separate Anchor alarm in OpenCPN. It's part of the WATCHDOG: Navigation Alarms plugin https://opencpn-manuals.github.io/main/watchdog/index.html#_anchor_alarm

@mattferrell as someone who wants to get back into #sailing and has seen too many #SailingLife videos with little useful information and lots of bikinis and reefs, it strikes me that these are very different than collocated solar / agriculture setups where some shade and some light is beneficial. These seem to entirely occlude large sections of sea floor. Their marketing, https://www.canopypower.com/floating-solar , mentions rainwater collection, but not shade effects, good or bad.

Argh!🤬 #FDroid won't let me install Quickly Quit https://blog.timcappalli.me/p/preso-authn25/ on my new (to me) #PixelPro9Fold on #GrapheneOS. I had it installed in my old #PixelFold, but #SeedVault won't restore it 😢
F-Droid blocks it because it as not compatible, which is probably why Seed Vault wouldn't restore it.
My alternate solution: just pull down the menu, select the on/off icon, then select lockdown.
This prevents a power button push giggling the device and breaking wireless Qi charging connection.

#OpenCPN (Chart Plotter #Navigation) https://opencpn.org/index.html
Very cool stuff! I was hoping that something like this was out there, but, I kept hearing references to Navionics and Garmin (ugh!), and never to something open. I am delighted to discover that I won't be limited to proprietary, locked down, software.
There's even a #NixPkg for it https://search.nixos.org/packages?show=opencpn&type=packages&query=opencpn

@Sonikku Although I can't find the reference the #ExtensibleVILayer for Emacs (EVIL), or, perhaps #EmacsDoom, which uses EVIL, but one of them has a tag line something like: the question isn't Emacs versus VI... it's BOTH!
Naturally, I went with Prelude instead 😋

@jayalane @ams I would still rather see a set of more standard compliant key bindings. CUA mode https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/CuaMode just isn't good enough, and doesn't even support things like Shift-Ins. It's enough to make me consider mousemacs https://github.com/seamus-brady/mousemacs.
Most modern programmer's editors and IDE's support loading in key bindings from a file. The way Emacs works that would be tricky. I suppose that's why #ExtensibleVILayer and #SpaceMacs are more like projects than property files.

@etherdiver ooo.. #ScreamingFemales have a subdomsin landing page, https://screamingfemales.bandcamp.com/music , that's enough of a reason to buy their CD from there for me 😁
