Back when I was doing my anchor practice, I was annoyed that I couldn't figure out how to load the anchor plugin in #OpenCPN , so I had to download a stand alone Android app.
Now I figured out my mistake. There is no separate Anchor alarm in OpenCPN. It's part of the WATCHDOG: Navigation Alarms plugin https://opencpn-manuals.github.io/main/watchdog/index.html#_anchor_alarm

Onko täällä ketään joka osaisi auttaa avoimen traficomin raakakarttadatan muuttamisessa OpenCPN vektoriformaattiin?
Tarvitsisin Päijänne-Keitele vesistön merikartat. Niitä ei kai saa kaupallisesti sopivassa formaatissa mitenkään. Edes OpenSeaMap.bitmap-karttoja ei Päijänteelle saa.

A fun little project this last weekend! Mainly a good excuse to practice some CAD work.
It's a 7" touchscreen with a raspberry pi 4 running open plotter and openCPN. It's a prototype for the head unit for my navigation station on my boat.
The final one will likely be a 10" touchscreen. Not waterproof, but water resistant. And then likely a waterproof android tablet for the cockpit.
I will likely use the prototype in the vbearth for keeping an eye on things.

Heard one could download from Traficom the raw data and then somehow convert to the OpenCPN format? Anyone here with experience? Or even ready-made stuff?

Very cool stuff! I was hoping that something like this was out there, but, I kept hearing references to Navionics and Garmin (ugh!), and never to something open. I am delighted to discover that I won't be limited to proprietary, locked down, software.

Ich habe auf dem Laptop #opencpn eingerichtet, um bei wechselnden Charterbooten meine eigene Dokumentation der Törns und der Törnplanung zu haben.
GPS-Antenne via USB ist vorhanden, ich such nur jetzt noch nach einem preisgünstigen, portablen Weg, auch AIS-Informationen in mein System zu bekommen. (Opencpn ist kompatibel mit USB-Geräten, die beispielsweise nach NMEA Standard übertragen). Hat jemand nen guten Hardware-Tipp? -
