@Sonikku Although I can't find the reference the #ExtensibleVILayer for Emacs (EVIL), or, perhaps #EmacsDoom, which uses EVIL, but one of them has a tag line something like: the question isn't Emacs versus VI... it's BOTH!
Naturally, I went with Prelude instead 😋

@jayalane @ams I would still rather see a set of more standard compliant key bindings. CUA mode https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/CuaMode just isn't good enough, and doesn't even support things like Shift-Ins. It's enough to make me consider mousemacs https://github.com/seamus-brady/mousemacs.
Most modern programmer's editors and IDE's support loading in key bindings from a file. The way Emacs works that would be tricky. I suppose that's why #ExtensibleVILayer and #SpaceMacs are more like projects than property files.
