A lot of dragons from earth appear smaller than dragons from other worlds with more abundant prey. This is because the amount of dragons present would heavily destabilize the ecosystem. They shift to smaller forms so that their bellies fill faster.
When they leave earth for worlds with more food to consume, they work back up to their original form by shifting their size up and down repeatedly until they reach a form that feels right (or until they can’t shift up bigger anymore). This process’s speed can depend on the dragon.
The dragon pictured is little Nep Nep; Neptune Guiying.

I installed #DragonAge Origins today, and played for a bit. I haven't' been back to this game in a long time... at least a decade (more?), which is a long time for being one of my favorite games of all time.
It's been so long that I no longer have every map memorized (but they're all very familiar).
I don't know if I'll finish any run, but I started my two favorites (An elf mage, and a human noble). My wife ir probably gonna make a Dwarf Princess again now that I've run the installer for her

booted up dragon age: origins and after veilguard the launcher song alone was like injecting pure healing into my veins

Finally finished Veilguard. It was... an experience. My feelings oscillated wildly throughout my playthrough.
First, there was disgust. This was not the DA4 I wanted. The characters annoyed me, the lack of choice alienated me from my character, and the pretty visuals and smooth combat did little to assuage that. This lasted maybe 1/3 of my playthrough, culminating in the most anticlimactic mission I've ever played in a Bioware game.

I really do miss how companions in previous games had distinct mechanics that helped define their personalities. DA:O especially, particularly with Sten who needed to be actively brought to places that triggered comments to get anything out of him, but DA:I had some of this too with Cole & discovering his 'pranks'.
Veilguard OTOH is purely formulaic - every companion quest progresses in the same way & ends with the player making one of two choices for them.

fucking hell i was getting sick of all the companion missions and side content i was doing in the veilguard so i was like "ok let's break it up with a main story quest or two" but nope the next main story quest was just a meeting warning me that i was about to enter the endgame
back to the grind i guess
