Just discovered the NPR program 'The Fabulous 413' and I'm pleased to report that it is a heartening dose of local goodness
Not that I listen to every episode, but when I do, it's interesting, lively, and reaffirming that there are cool cultural things happening with good people near where I live. And that is valuable

I got the Voice Nodulator fixed and working better than ever! All 8 params(grain frequency & size, attack, decay, feedback, lopass to pitchcompressor, high cut) to be safely voltage controllable and I can’t even blow it up with juice from the ARP!
Turned out part of the problem was a couple of potentiometers that had been resoldered too many times and crushed in too many bags.
Looking forward to getting together with the #synthdiy and #modularsynth nerds in a couple weeks here in #westernma!

My older iPhone won’t take pictures with long exposures but partner’s will. We were sitting on chairs at the Lake Wyola town beach and it was pretty spectacular around 730. I could see orange all over the sky easily with my eyes! Here are a couple of her pictures with 3s exposure!

0️⃣ I’m starting my 13th year teaching high school math and physics at a K-12 Waldorf school in #WesternMA. I’m also involved in pedagogical administration, and coordinated our high school through the covid years.
1️⃣ This year I’m teaching Algebra II and Precalc year-long courses and month-long intensive seminars in Projective Geometry and an intro to Calculus.
2️⃣ Pies>Cakes>Donuts. Overdosed on donuts after grad school talks. Also have been gluten free for ten years and GF donuts are pretty meh.
3️⃣ Outside of work I love walking my senior Labradoodle, hanging with my family and cohousing friends, going to cafes, cooking, a little gardening.
