Source of the #voice #sample is a cassette recording of a tarot/astrology reading I got at a thrift store. #FoundSound FTW. The #DrumLoop is one I had kicking around forever, recording #VolcaDrum onto a cassette and fucking with the speed. That's pretty much the #gear used.

There's also a collection of the weirder sounds a #Korg #VolcaDrum makes in here -- all manner of weird squidges, burbles and blaps. Those and the Alpha Juno stuff came during the production phase, on the respective #InstrumentDays. The rest of this is all samples, some treated by the #Morphagene.

From Nov 18 to Nov 22 I had #InstrumentDays where each day I would take a specific instrument, and just add a bit of it to as many of the in-progress tracks as I could. It went like this:
Day 1: Add #Arturia #MiniBrute2s to 3 tracks
Day 2: Add #KawaiK4r to 4 tracks
Day 3: Add #VolcaDrum to 2 tracks
Day 4: Add #Hydrasynth to 2 tracks

I had wanted to set up all my #drum sounds too, but my #DrumMachine obsession kind of messed me up LMAO. Basically I got one of the drum machines like three days before we started and another the day after I began, so there wasn't much time to get them set up. I did program like 7 kits for the #VolcaDrum although it ended up being used more as an accent than a core piece of the album's drum sound.
