Orr, ich hab ein Stück #Musik in the making, was mal so richtig geil wird. Ich hab da ein #VocalSample von Loleatta Holloway mit drin und muss mich wohl nun endlos mit #BMG rumschlagen.

Mal was anderes: Kennt jemand eine #Sängerin mit ner richtigen Gröhle, die Loleatta Holloway ersetzen könnte? Ich frag ja nur. Also nicht für nen Freund, sondern für mich.

That was probably meant as a joke, but a good #SoundDesigner can make an entire track from nothing but one short #VocalSample, and you'd never know it.

The human voice has lots of great #textures and #harmonics that easily lend themselves to #SoundDesign techniques like #GranularSynthesis and #resampling. Add in a healthy dose of the usual effects (like #reverb, #delay, #chorus, #distortion, #repitch, etc.), and the possibilities are nearly limitless.

Sorry for the info dump; Sound design is one of my lifelong passions, and I can't help chiming in when someone brings up audio #sampling. I hope you at least found it somewhat interesting. 😅
