Cliffs are actively eroding & unstable. Keep well back from the edge. https://parks.novascotia.ca/content/cape-split It is a continuation of North Mountain range, made of tholeiitic basalt.

We've done this Cape Split Trailhead a few times, my wife is disabled now, not sure if we can do it any longer. Plan ahead.
