The Scarecrows of Necum Teuch.
Once, it was a tourist 'must see ', an historic home, turned into a museum. The Scarecrows were all around the acreage, a moose by the big, and dozens of scarecrow people to greet the visitors.
Tourist guides, the Eastern Shore webpage, and children's books, still carry the stories.
Parking was across the highway, a loop, with a look off, out Necum Teuch Bay.

Lakeville Lake at Sunset
This little lake is not far from #Kentville, #NovaScotia on the side of a main road in the Annapolis Valley. In the winter there are ice fishing huts scattered over the surface, but in the #summer it's filled with people swimming.This is so peaceful with that calm surface and almost perfect reflection.Have a peaceful day, friends.

BTW. # 7 Highway #EasternShore lost another merchant. After Sheet Harbour the next Food or Gasoline is in Sherbrooke, NS. The Pizza-convenience in #PortDufferin is gone . Used to be a Payphone there once, still no cellular service, or Pizza now.
Next convenience is #Gizmo's Variety (With #NSLC select) in Moser River, and still no gas stations for 80 kms or so..
But, still has its #Scenic charm. With or without a store. #WAYCTV
