It’s been an ideal summer’s day for a leisurely outing with my husband in his Humber Twelve to a neighbouring village show to meet his ‘old car’ friends & fellow enthusiasts, through the lanes of the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, past fields of maize and barley.

We just replaced a draughty old window at the kitchen sink, with a new single pane of glass that has opened up our view down into the Vale Of Clwyd and beyond. We’re washing the dishes in a new light, watching the lilac hedge greening at a fast rate (the hedge outside is our boundary - on the other side is a grassy field
