We just replaced a draughty old window at the kitchen sink, with a new single pane of glass that has opened up our view down into the Vale Of Clwyd and beyond. We’re washing the dishes in a new light, watching the lilac hedge greening at a fast rate (the hedge outside is our boundary - on the other side is a grassy field

Looking down into the valley below us, early this morning, the view is much as I would imagine it to be when the sea levels rise enough in the future to bring sea water from the north coast of #Wales as far inland as we are, so that we have an estuary below us, and a coast line where the houses are. #today it’s not sea water I see but low lying mist. But one day, in this new climate era, the inhabitants of our 17C house will be living so near the coast!
