Me terminé #UntilDawn. Está chulo el juego. El movimiento y cámaras apestan. Te saca de la experiencia.
Me ha dolido "matar" a Mike por ansioso y mongolo. Pero, oye, es la primera partida. Al principió Mike parecía un mongolo. Y, sin embargo, es el que más me ha jodido que muera. En ese aspecto, bien la historia y decisiones.

Me pone la polla dura jugar a juegos de #PlayStation en mi #PC con el #DualSense y, encima, en #GNU con #Linux. Ahora le estoy dando a #UntilDawn.
Por cierto, este juego, si usas PROTON_DLSS_UPGRADE (para actualizar automáticamente el #DLSS) se queda en negro la imagen. Se quita, y a correr. A veces no tiene mucho sentido o ventaja actualizar sí o sí el DLSS.
Me va del diez en alto. Si pongo RT me folla la GPU. Sin novedad... no vale la pena degradar lo demás para esto.

A week ago, I finally finished Until Dawn. I have to say I felt better before the story introduced me to the enemy. It was way creepy before they started crawling all over the screen.
I did have fun though. 6/10

#untildawn is up for day 3 of #31DaysOfHorror . Manages to work video game mechanics into its story and starts off with promise but quickly fizzles out. Needed a more likeable cast of characters.

Until Dawn (2025)
This movie is so boring, I will rename it to: Until Yawn.
I finished the movie only because I was curious how it would end. Unfortunately, when the movie ended, I had no idea what had happened and why things had happened. I know that Clover (Ella Rubin) is accompanied by her friends to look for her sister who had left a year ago for New York but went missing. There is a Dr. Hill (Peter Stormare) who is running experiments, but why? Have no clue.
Horror Groundhog Day. The thing that a timeloop movie needs are characters that we care about because we'll be spending so much time with them in short repetitive moments. Unfortunately the characters in Until Dawn are so underdeveloped they are nearly interchangeable. They do have archieypes to help out though: The strong one, the jerk, the one in touch with vibes, that one girl who is just there and the nice guy. With the lack of interesting characters, the audience is left with a series of horror scenes that are disconnected from each other. The producers must have thought as much because there are quite a few loops which were reduced to a montage (most of them actually shown in the same sequence in the trailer for this movie).
The bit with the drinking water was apparently supposed to both be horrific and a key part of the movie, but it turned out to be more hilarious than horrific -- a lot of that being to the way that it was executed on screen. The Wendegos are meh. The movie is very gory and that was done well.
The Wall of Rain is actually kind of cool.
Peter Stormare seems to be having a ball in the film.
I have never played the game.
Rated 3 out of 10.
