  1. CW: Teach You a Lesson, Ep 3

Haha, Undercover High School crossover :blobcatgiggle:

    #TeachYouALesson #kdrama #UndercoverHighSchool

  2. Day 26: Most disappointing drama of 2025. #EYDC2025

    #cDrama #kDrama #jDrama #twDrama

The ONLY potential disqualifying consideration for my winner is that "most disappointing" might be far too euphemistic

For your entertainment and edification, I present a chronological summary of my hatewatch toots about #kDrama #UndercoverHighSchool -a viewing experience so awful, I'd literally FORGOTTEN it until researching the challenge reminded me

  3. REALLY looking forward to #KDrama #TheArtOfNegotiation but after the rancid brain-curdling mess that was #UndercoverHighSchool I'm going to take a break from Drama watching for the day and read instead. That way, "Negotiation" won't be tainted by my current raw trauma state.

  4. I was going to give #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool 2/10 but then I realised there was no reason to be so absurdly kind and generous after the damage it inflicted on my cognition.

So it gets 1/10 thanks to the sympathetic treatment of the villain's daughter. That makes it the 5th 1/10 Drama I've finished, out of 519. Not sure why I overrode my usual drop instinct for this, but lesson learned.

  5. One of the things about #KDrama #Missing9 (Neurons )that REALLY induced rage was how the villain was REPEATEDLY beaten to a bloody pulp on a deserted island, and EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. He was fine the very next scene with no injuries AT ALL.

So it was a real trigger moment to see the same thing in #UndercoverHighSchool - the villain's chief henchman gets into a prolonged fight with the hero, and LOSES. The hero bears signs of the fight, the baddie does not

  6. Back when I was a #KDrama neophyte, I actually used to hatewatch/ragewatch the occasional Drama FOR FUN. Now, like Murtagh, I'm too old for that merde.

Not since #Missing9 have I watched a #KDrama in which I could actually hear the dying screams of individual neurons as they gave up trying to make sense of what they were being forced to process.
It's happening again as #UndercoverHighSchool abandons any pretence of having being written by sentient beings, so it's FF to the end.

  7. Episode 9 of #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool confirming that apparently the NIS has exactly ONE vaguely competent agent. Pyongyang, come on down!

  8. Wading painfully on through #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool because my completism has kicked in and I want them to find the damn gold, I'm struck again by what a HUGE difference a credible villain makes. The villain in this #KDrama is an absolute cartoon cliché and is impossible to take seriously. This means there's no menace when she's on screen, merely tedium. The contrast with the villain S1 of #ForestOfSecrets , so VERY well played by Lee Kyung Young , is huge. A real person, a real threat

  9. Park Se Hyun was a big part of why I started #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool but her role in it is a big comedown from #KnightFlower I hope her next role is better and not a student because her scenes out of school uniform in this show that phase of her career doesn't have long to run

  10. @EllenInEdmonton @joakimfors Whereas for me, the 3 episodes I endured were completely devoid of anything that amused me, except the cookoff. #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool otoh is generating plenty of laughs - albeit of the unintentional "omg did an AI LLM write this?" sort. 😀

  11. FFing through #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool out of sheer boredom, it throws up one of my top 5 hated tropes: Kindergarten Kismet. 🤢 🤮

    (It's 02:20 and I don't want to start a GOOD Drama when I can't do it justice)

  12. pro tip for #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool subbers - there is, I would hope, a significant difference in meaning between "the vice-principal" (which you likely intended) and "the vice principle" (which you actually delivered). NPYW

  13. I started #KDrama #UndercoverHighSchool knowing it was not great because I like Jin Ki Joo and am interested in the career progression of Park Se Hyun. Two eps in and I'm feeling enormous sympathy ofr both of them.

  14. Were you confused why Haeseong's ( #UndercoverHighSchool ) father was confused & laughed when his kid wrote his name that's supposedly meant "comet"? Check my latest blog «What's in Haeseong's name?» whtwnd.com/youronly.... #언더커버하이스쿨 #Kdrama #TV #YourOnlyOne
