I agree that the show was spotty. It's one that I'm glad that I watched while it was #CurrentlyAiring, because that built up a bit of excitement. The ML was definitely a highlight, especially given his youth and relative inexperience.

Finally, yesterday I finished the #Kdrama #BonAppétitYourMajesty! It took me a long time (since August 23) simply because I gave more priority to other K-dramas.
I liked Bon Appétit Your Majesty in general, but beware:
- The first half is introductory and rather boring
- The middle part is a sort of MasterChef competition (in Joseon style)
- The final part is very bloody and gory.
However, the last ~28 minutes are so particularly emotional and touching that I ended up with tears in my eyes! 😢 -

#BonAppetitYourMajesty was modestly entertaining to watch. The food reactions were cute, and the ML was delightful to watch. The IRL court scheming that occurred during this king's reign is a bit much, and it dominates the story in the end. Some of the food competition shows just seem to go on and on. More fun for serious foodies to watch.

Episode 6 of the #Kdrama #BonAppétitYourMajesty is more intriguing than the previous ones! I guess the story is getting more interesting, but I will see. The episodes are still quite boring in general, but most likely because they are also very long (over 1 hour).
Ah, and I like when the characters are dressed like my avatar! 😁

Okay, did you not all imagine that he fell into the pond at the palace during another eclipse and ended up coming up in a lake looking all gorgeous in his drenched robes and someone snagged him as a model immediately?
He already knew about the future existing, so was smart enough to keep his mouth shut until he figured things out. He made some money, bought some clothes & then started searching for her.
Beautiful people always have it easier in life.

@hobiis I agree. This part was utterly disappointing, I mean we're all expecting to know how he ended up in the 21st century and he dares to say "It's not important". I'd also like to know where he found the clothes or, if he was reborn in the 21st century, how he gained his full past memories back.
They should have added one more episode if they were short on time to explain all this.
