praydog's #UEVR mod that will make hundreds of #UnrealEngine games instantly playable in #virtualreality still seems to be on track to release this year, just the very last day of 2023.
Flat2VR asked on X what everyone is planning to play when it drops and I'm curious about what the fediverse's answer to that is too.
Personally I'm most excited about seeing if Fishing: Barents Sea or Fishing: North Atlantic works well because I've been dreaming of a good open world maritime VR game for a long time. Going to see if Kholat works as well.
I've got a number of other confirmed working games lined up in my library too, titles like The Outer Worlds, Gothic Armada 2, Call of Cthulhu, The Sinking City, The Forgotten City, The Savage Planet, The City of Brass... and still thinking of picking up more.

@astromecanik I enjoyed the novel and was happy to hear a game based on it got made. This makes me think maybe I should get it to play in VR with #UEVR which I am still hopeful will release during the last few days of 2023...

All signs point to Praydog's UEVR mod being slated for release later this month completely for free. It will be a total game changer for virtual reality gaming on PC as hundreds of Unreal Engine 4 games will be playable in VR with it for the first time ever.
