👉Samsung Galaxy Young GT-S5369, Android 2.3.6, fonctionnel. 3G ; bon pour la radio FM ; assure toujours un bon traçage gpx avec #GPSLogger grâce au #GNSS.
👉Huawei Ascend Y330, Android 4.2.2, dysfonctionne en ne finissant plus de démarrer (batterie gonflée, 10€ pour en changer). 3G H+ ; ... ; tracé gpx médiocre.
👉Wiko Goa v8, Android 4.4.2, fonctionnel. 3G H+, bon pour la radio FM ; ... ; tracé gpx médiocre.

Ces appareils ont été "rootés" pour pouvoir libérer de l'espace en supprimant des applications aussi lourdes que devenues inutilisables, merci #TitaniumBackup !

#OsmAnd y fonctionne.

Es gibt ein neues #OpenSource #Backup-Projekt, was auch auf #Android 13 zu funktionieren scheint: #NeoBackup, eine Weiterentwicklung des früheren #OAndBackupX. Es benötigt root-Rechte.

Ein erster Test hat mich eine App inklusive Daten wiederherstellen lassen. Mit #TitaniumBackup gelingt das nicht mehr.

Unter #TitaniumBackup funktioniert auf aktuellem #iodeos bzw. #lineageos die Wiederherstellung schlichtweg nicht mehr. In allen drei Operationsmodi (direkt, indirekt, via Installer).

#SeedVault sichert einen Großteil der Apps nicht, genau wie ein Backup über adb. Google Cloud steht nicht zur Debatte.

Kann es denn wirklich sein, dass man auch bei #Android-Custom-ROMs keinerlei Möglichkeit mehr hat, sein Mobilgerät in weniger als 10 Tagen neu aufzusetzen?

Installation of #iodéOS3 on the #Fairphone 4 went extremely smooth.

Now I have to find out
a) if I can still root the device
b) if I could live without #Magisk and #TitaniumBackup and
c) if I could live without the few commercial apps I have on my daily driver #LOS18.1 phone with #FlameGapps.

#Titaniumbackup is getting worse with every Android version. Most of my apps cant be restored trough it and i lost a lot of data.

btw ... Meine Backups von #TitaniumBackup und #oandbackup konnten irgendwie nicht wiederhergestellt werden. Warum auch immer 🤷

Bei #Threema war für die weniger Technikaffinen früher das #Backup der Identität & der Nachrichten eine große Hürde.
Auf gerooteten Handys mit #TitaniumBackup war das kein großes Problem - aber wer #Google sein Backup nicht anvertrauen wollte, sah sich - im Vergleich zu WA - mit einem umständlichen Prozess konfrontiert.
Ich hatte jahrelang knapp die Hälfte meiner Kontaktliste voll mit Karteileichen... 😒

Ich bin ja gerade dabei nach und nach den Play Store (und somit ein weiteres Stück Google) von meinem Handy zu verbannen. Nun ist mir aufgrfallen:aufgefallen ich kenne gar keine Alternative zu #TitaniumBackup 😱
Hat da wer was für mich? Wie immer bevorzugt #Fdroid :)
