@bmv Ich habe für den Scheiß 5€ umsonst ausgegeben, nur, weil Sie NIRGENDS angegeben hatte, daß man zur Benutzung dieser App außerdem noch einen Vertrag mit Google oder Apple braucht. Obendrein habe ich Tage gebraucht, um genau das herauszufinden, da beim "support" zumindest per Email erstmal nur eine KI mit Standartantworten daherkommt - und der Fehler in der App völlig unspezifisch ist.
Im Grunde hätte ich da gerne mein Geld wieder zurück, weil SIE es vermuxt haben.

@chertridge #iodeos is another good choice, if Pixel 5 is to old for #GrapheneOS. If not, i would prefer Graphene...

@heiseonline Selbst wenn man Android hätte, stellt sich mir die Frage, ob man für diese App außerdem noch einen Vertrag mit Google haben muß.
Bei der iKFZ-App ist das nämlich so und es wird einem NICHT gesagt! Und so habe ich 5€ für einen nutzlosen QR-Code ausgegeben und mit dieser App und deren "Support" (welcher erstmal eine KI war) mir falsche Antworten gegeben hat, ehe dann doch mal ein richtiger Mensch geantwortet hat, daß man dieses Angebot nur nutzen kann, wenn man einen Vertrag mit Google unter Android geschlossen hat.

Merci pour ton travail... L'information vient juste de mon observation des requêtes DNS sur mon système #IodéOs. L'application ne bloque pas le domaine, c'est juste qu'il apparaît désormais dans les domaines malveillants non bloqués. Ne comprenant, moi non plus pourquoi, je pose la question à @iode

@Lioh Das ist auch eine sehr gute Idee, habe selber ein Fairphone 4 mit #e_OS gerootet und bin mit dem Smartphone und eOS zufrieden.

Wobei ich ein Dualboot am liebsten nutzen würde. Also z.B. eOS, #IodeOS oder #grapheneos damit ich auf F-Droid zugreifen kann und googlefree bin. Alternativ möchte ich aber #ubuntutouch starten können um komplett vom Android losgelöst zu sein. Das Smartphone von @volla kommt der Sache schon sehr nahe. Wobei ich mir das Konzept des modularen #shiftphone auch gut gefällt, nur leider kein Dualboot. Möchte nicht mit zwei Geräten herumlaufen.

Kann man selber ein Dualboot auf einrn Faiphone einrichten?

So used iodeOS as my main phone for the first time today. So far so good except for the battery life. After 2 hours at work it had drained by almost 20%. Back home I put it in air plane mode for 2 hours and it dropped 1%. Usage stats show mobile data being the main consumer too.

I'll carry on investigating but seems to be something related to mobile data rather than a single app.

Decided to give iodeOS a try on my Pixel 6 Pro as support is coming to an end. GrapheneOS was fine too but they stop supporting devices too when Google does.

Mostly working great so far with MicroG and Aurora Store as replacements for Google. Banking app works too after locking the bootloader. Still need to test Android Auto but hoping this can be my daily driver. Would be awesome if I could actually delete my Google account finally...

@denis kann ich mich nur anschließen. Ging vor ner Zeit schon bei der TK-Ident App los, jetzt auch bei der normalen TK App auf meinem #fp6 mit #IodeOS. Ich hab ihnen schonmal schriftlich meinen Unmut darüber mitgeteilt. Vllt müssten das mehr Leute machen.
Mit der App der #glsbank kann ich sogar digital bezahlen auf dem Gerät. Daher absolut unverständlich.

Nu har jag skrivit en artikel på min egna hemsida om min erfarenhet av Iodé Android operativsystem ( @iode ) och delvis i jämförelse med /e/OS Android operativsystem.

Förhoppningsvis intressant och till nytta för den som funderar på Iodé eller börjar använda det.

@globcoco I don't know if i "like" Motorola - not really, like all the other big tech companies they are probably just waiting to fully "enshittify". But atm they seem quite solid - I think their phones are even now less bloated then others and of good quality.
About #iodeOS I liked that they included #MicroG - at the time I used it I was more depending on Software from the Playstore. And they had a nice little like firewall thing integrated, where you could manage permissions more detailed.

@globcoco I used #iodeOS for quite a while on a Xiaomi Phone. It really was a good experience, so why not...
But I have to admit that #GrapheneOS, which I use atm) is the most polished custom rom I ever used. It is a shame that it depends on Phones built by Google (hope the #Motorola cooperation will be successful).

@mhaseneyer #GrapheneOS ist wirklich extrem gut umgesetzt - alles funktioniert, kein gefrickel, Installation total einfach. Es läuft auch so gut wie alles, die "harten Fälle" kommen ins extra Profil mit Google Diensten, dass nur dafür genutzt wird.
Ich hatte in den Jahren davor #LineageOS , #iodeOS und #eOS genutzt.
