@sesamemucho Pleased to meet you! I've had #clawhammerbanjo and #oldtimemusic on my hashtag list for a couple of months, along with #fiddle, #tiple and a few other instruments.
Jim Costa, a favorite fiddler and banjo player near me is also a restorer of #handtools and furniture made with them. Alas, he has no use for digital tools... but they have been used ON him... Enjoy this!:

@kashhill Follow people the interesting people follow... And post hashtags of topics you are interested in conversation about ... I have been disappointed, but not surprised, by a lack of #LocalNews conversations in my #RuralVirginia #Appalachian geographical area, or some of my musical and historical interests (#AppalachianFiddleStyles , #tiple, #AfroFuturism, #1920sTabloids#OldTimeRadio), but I check my hashtags a couple of times a week and have found some interesting chats.

We should talk #tiple sometime... My first goal when I got one -- beyond tuning -- was to track down players through the years. Found a blog in France, various videos ... as well as the international history of different instruments by that name... Altogether fascinating...

@ukeist ... Lightnin also plays 5-string banjo and banjo-uke, and is one of only a couple of people I've actually heard play the #tiple -- but he was playing mine, because he hadn't brought his to West Virginia. :-)
I should really take it out and play it more often myself, and record a couple more tunes.

@owenglynnedavies I'm just exploring Mastodon, searching out hashtags; noticed your 5-string banjo and that you are in Wales. Coincidence: An old friend in #Connecticut, usa, is a trad stoneware potter who learned his trade in #Wales & North Carolina, where he also became a #clawhammer #banjo player. He has a pretty extensive YouTube channel, but probably is not on Mastodon... So:
